UX or User Experience
User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.
UX design refers to the term “user experience design”, while UI stands for “user interface design”. Both elements are crucial to a product and work closely together.
Wireframing is the process of laying out pages in the "hoped for" design before it goes to web. Wireframing can be done with pencil and paper, or sophisticated software.
IA, or Information Architecture, is the organisation of information in a website. You can think of a website structure like a tree. The top branch is the top level and pages are smaller branches flowing out from the big branches or main trunk..
Good information architecture means how easy you make it for people to find information on your website.
Use powerful imagery, video or short text blurbs to tell people your message. Too much text, too many pages confuses or bores a reader. People don't have time for it, and if your reader gets bored or can't find what they are looking for, you lose them. Remember the KISS principle - Keep it Simple!
